WHY CASUAL CHILD CARE?

Casual care allows parents to have time do the things they would otherwise find difficult to do with children in tow, eg: do the shopping, meet with friends, attend appointments on a casual or regular basis.

WHAT IS CASUAL CARE?

Casual care provides quality care for children aged 2 years to 5 years of age while at daycare. The centre employs caring, qualified and experienced staff. The centre also offers a program of age appropriate activities for children, both indoor and outdoor, with equipment and toys that are fun, stimulating and educational. Activities include art, craft, music, songs and stories.

Casual care children are blended into their appropriate age group rooms together with full day care children so that we can offer an educational experience not just a baby sitting service.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We offer a choice between 2 casual care sessions per day Monday to Friday. Parents book their children into a 4 hourly session either in the morning starting from 8.30am to 12.30pm or in the afternoon from 1.00pm to 5.00pm.

The standard fee is $48.00 per session with Child Care Benefit available on application to the Family Assistance Office.

The morning session includes morning tea and lunch, while the afternoon session offers afternoon tea. Nappies are provided free.
